Crestron
Crestron Trained & Certified
The most capable platform in the house.
Crestron is what we reach for when a home asks the most of its control system: many rooms, serious audio-video, and owners who want one interface for all of it. Our team is trained and certified by Crestron, and we engineer, program, and support these systems ourselves — lighting, shades, climate, entertainment, and security unified into one experience that works the same from a touch panel, a keypad, a remote, or your phone.

One Interface for Everything
A Crestron home answers to one system: the theater, the whole-home audio, the lighting, the shades, the thermostats, the cameras. No app-hopping, no guessing which remote — one consistent interface in every room and in your pocket.

Engineered for Complex Homes
Crestron earns its reputation in the homes that break simpler systems: distributed video across many displays, dedicated theaters, large properties with outbuildings. The platform is engineered for scale, and so is the way we design with it — on a wired backbone with enterprise networking underneath.

Programmed and Supported Here
A Crestron system is only as good as its programming and the people behind it. Ours is done by our own certified team — never subcontracted — and backed by support that answers around the clock, from the same people who built your system.
Why Personal Technology

Our employees are trained and certified by Crestron — the same standard we hold across every platform we install.
Our own people, every time
Design, installation, programming, and support all come from Personal Technology employees. Subcontracted labor is not our style.
Supported after handoff
A dedicated support team available 24 hours a day — your system stays our responsibility long after the install.
Frequently Asked
Can you take over an existing Crestron system?
Often, yes. We start with an assessment — the processor generation, how the programming was built, and what you want the system to do — and tell you honestly whether it's a takeover, an update, or time to modernize.
Crestron or Lutron — which do I need?
They're usually partners, not rivals: Lutron is our first choice for lighting and shades, and Crestron sits above it as the whole-home control layer when a project calls for one. Many of our homes run both.
Does Crestron work with my other equipment?
Integration is the platform's whole point. Crestron controls the equipment a fine home already has — AV, climate, pool, cameras, door stations — and we design the network underneath so all of it stays reliable.
Can the system be serviced remotely?
Yes. Much of the adjustment and troubleshooting can be handled remotely by our team, with on-site service from the same people when it's needed.
Where do you work?
We serve the San Gabriel Valley and its foothill communities from our home base in Alhambra — Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, La Cañada Flintridge, Glendale, Altadena, Arcadia, Sierra Madre, Bradbury, Glendora, and neighboring cities.
