Motorized Shades
Certified: Lutron Shades · Palladiom Shades
Windows that know the time of day.
Shades are the quietest system in the house and one of the hardest working. They move with the sun to tame heat and glare, protect art and furnishings from UV, give you privacy at dusk without a thought, and frame the view the architect intended. We motorize the full range of window treatments — tailored roller shades, relaxed roman shades, and full-height drapery — measured precisely, engineered around your windows, and woven into the same scenes as your lighting, as a Lutron Platinum dealer certified for both Lutron Shades and Palladiom Shades.

Romans and Rollers, Motorized
Motorization isn’t only for flat roller shades. Relaxed romans — the soft, tailored treatments our clients love — motorize beautifully, keeping the dressmaker detail while gaining silent, precise movement. Set them to follow the sun through the day, drop for privacy at dusk, or move together as part of a morning or evening scene.

Drapery, Including Palladiom
Full-height drapery panels belong on a motorized track: a whisper-quiet glide instead of a hand-pulled stutter, and perfect stacks every time. For windows where the hardware deserves to be seen, Lutron’s Palladiom drapery system puts the track itself on display — architectural hardware finished to match the Palladiom keypads on the wall.

One System with Your Lighting
Daylight and electric light are one subject. Because we engineer shades on the same Lutron platform as your lighting control, a single scene can raise the shades, draw the drapery, dim the pendants, and warm the room — natural and electric light choreographed together instead of fighting each other.

New build or retrofit
Wired shades are the gold standard for new construction; battery-powered options bring motorization to finished homes without opening walls. We design around what your home allows.
Local, and staying that way
Based in Alhambra since 2007, serving only the West San Gabriel Valley. The team that measures your windows is the team that answers when you call.
Frequently Asked
Can shades be added to my existing Lutron system?
Usually, yes. Lutron shades join HomeWorks and RadioRA systems as native devices, on the same keypads and scenes as your lighting. We confirm the details in a system walkthrough.
Do motorized shades need wiring?
Not always. Wired shades are the most reliable and are what we design into new construction and remodels; battery-powered shades motorize existing windows without opening walls, with battery life measured in years for most windows.
What fabric and light-control options are there?
Everything from open sheers that cut glare while keeping the view, to room-darkening fabrics, to true blackout for bedrooms and theaters — and dual-shade designs that pair a sheer and a blackout on one window. Beyond rollers: relaxed roman shades and motorized drapery, including Lutron’s Palladiom drapery hardware.
Can the shades run on a schedule or with voice control?
Yes. Shades follow schedules and astronomic time (sunrise and sunset shift through the year), join any lighting scene, and respond to the same app and voice control as the rest of your Lutron system.
Where do you work?
We serve the San Gabriel Valley and its foothill communities from our home base in Alhambra — Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, La Cañada Flintridge, Glendale, Altadena, Arcadia, Sierra Madre, Bradbury, Glendora, and neighboring cities.
