Altadena

Serving the San Gabriel Valley from Alhambra

Rebuilding the foothills — wired right from the studs.

Altadena is rebuilding. The Eaton Fire took an irreplaceable swath of this community, and the recovery now underway is years of new construction — hundreds of families making decisions about homes they intend to keep for generations. We approach that work with the respect it deserves: a rebuild is not a project to upsell, it's a chance to put infrastructure in the walls that the original house never had, at the one moment it costs the least. Conduit, structured wiring, shade pockets, a proper equipment space — decided on paper, built once.

For the Altadena that still stands — the Craftsman blocks, the Janes cottages, the canyon customs under Christmas Tree Lane's cedars — the brief is the foothill one: networks that reach canyon lots, power protection for a grid that works hard in fire season, and lighting that suits homes built a century before any of this existed.

Altadena in Brief

The housing stock

Historic Craftsman and cottage neighborhoods alongside an unprecedented wave of rebuilds — new foothill construction at community scale.

What that means technically

Prewire and systems design for rebuilds; retrofit networks, lighting, and power protection for surviving homes; fire-season grid resilience throughout.

Who lives here

A community rebuilding deliberately — making once-in-a-generation decisions about how their homes should work.

What Altadena Asks Us For

Rebuild prewire, planned on paper

Structured wiring, conduit, shade pockets, and an equipment space designed with your architect and builder — the cheapest technology decisions you'll ever make, if they're made before drywall.

Home control →

Power built for the foothill grid

PSPS shutoffs and grid noise are part of foothill life. Power quality systems clean every watt and bridge the drop — designed in from the start on a rebuild.

Power quality →

Networks that reach the canyon

Deep lots, guest units, and ADUs on one engineered network — wired where it matters, covered where you live.

Altadena, Answered

We're rebuilding after the fire. What should go in the walls?

Conduit and structured wiring to every room, shade pockets at the windows that will need them, power and data where TVs and access points will live, and a ventilated equipment space. Decided at plans, this costs a fraction of retrofitting it later — and it's the one part of the rebuild you can't easily add afterward.

Do we have to decide every system now?

No — that's the point of conduit and prewire. Put the pathways in now and the house can take any system later, on your timeline and budget. We design the infrastructure so nothing is foreclosed.

Can you work with our architect and builder?

Yes, and we prefer to — low-voltage plans coordinated at the drawing stage, prewire scheduled like any trade, finish work after paint. We're already working within Altadena's rebuild process.

Do you serve the parts of Altadena that didn't burn?

All of Altadena — retrofit lighting, networking, shades, and power protection for the historic blocks, with the care their plaster and age deserve.
